PFAS Laboratory Consulting and Accreditation

Sampling and Analysis of PFAS chemicals can be a difficult task. The ubiquity of PFAS in common and laboratory equipment can easily end in contamination resulting in bad data and the need to redo work, costing both time and money. We have over 10 years of expertise with PFAS research in the field and in the lab, with a history of troubleshooting and tracking down PFAS contamination.

Laboratory and Method Accreditation:

  • Lasee Research and Consulting and PinPoint Testing work together to provide PFAS focused Laboratory Accreditation Consulting.

  • If you are interested in becoming an EPA method 533 or 1633 accredited laboratory or validating a custom method contact us to set up a meeting.

Possible PFAS issues we can help with:

  • Field Sampling - As surfactants, PFAS have unique behavior that can be very hard to predict. Typical predictors of PFAS behavior do not work for PFAS. Our years of expertise with PFAS sampling can ensure quality environmental sampling.

  • Sample Exactions and Analysis - PFAS is a large chemicals group with unique chemistry. We have expertise in a verity of extraction techniques for PFAS from several different tissues and material. If the need for developing new extraction techniques is needed, we have developed and qualified multiple PFAS extraction techniques.

  • Study Design - Are you planning to do an exposure study using some PFAS? Well, if you aren’t careful with your design and execution, you will end up with a contaminated mess with little-to-no consistency in your results. Our years of experience with PFAS will ensure your study avoids these pitfalls.

  • Troubleshooting - We have more experience troubleshooting problems in PFAS studies than we would like. Granted, that has made us very good at it.

  • Results Interpretation - We have a strong handle on the current literature on several PFAS chemicals. We can help you make sense of the data you generated.
